100th birthday for one of my students…

It was such a privilege to be invited to the 100th birthday of Doris Parker.
The celebration party was organised by Doris’s amazing and devoted daughter, Claire.
It was a truly beautiful afternoon tea party, tastefully and empathetically arranged by Claire to celebrate her mothers 100th birthday.
Claire also created a beautiful presentation including a speech and photos showing Doris’s life. The presentation was cleverly interspersed with references to relevant historic events which gave it even more poignant historic context.

Such a special occasion.

Both Doris and Claire have enjoyed art lessons with me whilst on holiday in Cornwall.
