Hypnotic Horizon – painted today 🎨🏖️


It’s been one of those perfect painting days — incredibly hot, with the sound of the sea, the sparkle of the water, and so many lovely people stopping for a chat. The sky was pure magic, drawing you into that hypnotic distance with its soft, gentle colours.


The top photo shows my painting held up in situ, lining up with the view so you can see how the colours and lines connect almost exactly with the real scene. The lower image is the painting on its own, so you can really see the detail.


Absolutely magical to paint — a blend of shimmering blues, sandy golds, and those peaceful ripples of the tide.
