Some days truly feel like gifts.


Yesterday I had the privilege of working with Andrew, a well-known character here at Mawgan Porth who has helped me so much over the years, and his sister. It was such a joy to finally spend time with them, sharing an art lesson by the sea.


To make it even more special, his sister from Australia brought me a Lamington… that little taste of Australia where I once lived as well. A simple gesture, but one that carried so much warmth and connection.


Days like these remind me how lucky I am: not only to paint, but also to teach people to express themselves through painting… to share moments of creativity together in such a beautiful place… and to see familiar faces in a new light, deepening connections in the most unexpected ways.
