Painting Trees in Cornwall: From Fundamentals to Unique Style

Two friends who had already completed my full art course returned to paint trees in Mawgan Porth, Cornwall. Their prior knowledge of depth of field, atmospheric perspective, and seasonal colours allowed them to create two very different works: one a spring reflection, the other an autumn glow.


On a day when the rain poured, we found warmth and creativity indoors, accompanied by two gentle rescue dogs.


It proves once again that with the right foundation, art is accessible for all ages and abilities. Each person develops their own unique style, turning knowledge into magic on the canvas.
