🎨☀️ The Day I Almost Melted (But Not Before Painting a Few Trees)
Little hands I paint as butterflies glide, A trick they can use again with pride. 🦋 Curious boys watch trees start to grow, Branches unfolding with a soft, steady flow. 🌿 “Why is the sea that shade of blue?” “And how do you know what shapes to do?” Their questions came soft on the salt-kissed air, As I painted and chatted without a care. The sun climbed high, the salt air sweet, But I felt myself starting to melt in the heat. ☀️ An ice cream whispered, “Wouldn’t I be grand?” But I knew it would melt right out of my hand. 🍦 So I packed up my brushes and left the shore, Till I’m ready to come back and paint some more. For now, there’s tea, a breeze, and shade, And dreams of the colours the coastline made. 🌊💛
