My car is an art Studio on wheels …

📸 “An Artist’s Car – Before & After!” 🎨


After a wonderfully busy (and very hot!) week teaching art on the beach, my car ended up looking like an art shop on wheels… or, to be honest, an art shop that exploded! 😅


Here’s a little poem I wrote (and spoke over the video) while tidying up:






My Car’s an Art Shop on Wheels


I’ve had a week of painting,
In sunshine fierce and bright,
And though you cannot see me now,
I’m sorting out my plight!


My car, she’s overflowing,
With brushes, paints and more,
There’s canvases and aprons,
And paper on the floor!


I had to pack up quickly,
The sun was far too hot,
And when you’re teaching lots of folk,
You can’t tidy on the spot.


There’s palettes in the glovebox,
And pencils in my shoes,
And somewhere in that muddle
Are all my favourite coloured hues!


So today I’m reorganising,
Each item in its place,
But if you looked inside my car…
You’d see a colourful disgrace!


I’ll snap a photo later,
Before the mess is gone,
‘Cause later I’ll reload it all…
And the chaos will be gone!
