Mawgan Porth is never only a beach. It is the keeper of memories, the stage for our stories, the mirror for our skies.


A gentleman once asked me to capture his favourite beach in Cornwall...Mawgan Porth...including himself, his father, and his dog. The day we met, the sky opened into a breathtaking display, as though it knew it was about to become part of a bigger memory. I took photographs, we talked, and that moment grew into a painting that now holds more than paint. It holds presence… connection… belonging.


This is what I love about creating art. A seascape is never only a view… it becomes a living memory that people can return to, again and again, whenever they need to feel close to those moments.
