Jeanni artist at Mawgan Porth – May Dream painting sold

“May Dream” sold today at Betty’s Surf Store in Mawgan Porth. Soon after, I received a moving message from its new owner. Their story carried sadness, but through this painting they found joy, hope, and memories of the sea that made them smile again.


This is the true power of art. A painting is never only brushstrokes and colour — it becomes a bridge between what we see and what we feel. Cornwall’s skies and tides are more than scenery… they hold moments of healing and connection.


It’s why I paint, and why I teach. By learning the fundamentals of art, anyone can create work that carries more than an image. It can hold memory, feeling, and even the spark of hope for someone else.
