🌸 Hydrangeas in Bloom 🌸


This painting of hydrangeas holds such a lovely memory for me. I created it en plein air, with the summer breeze carrying the sweet scent of flowers and the soft hum of bees in the garden. As I painted, a lovely lady stopped to watch – utterly fascinated by how the blooms emerged on the canvas, petal by petal, as if they were growing right before her eyes.


She later told me how magical it felt to see the process unfold, and I was delighted when she decided to take the finished piece home with her – a reminder of that moment of stillness and beauty.
