Two brothers stopped to watch me paint… curious at first, then completely hooked.
They listened closely as I shared the hidden secrets in the view — the geology of the cliffs, the maths of perspective, the science of the atmosphere, and the psychology of how we see. All explained in a way that was fun, age-appropriate, and memorable enough to stick with them long after the brushes were packed away. As they painted, they began to notice things they’d never really seen before… how the horizon shifts, how the sea changes shade with each passing cloud, how the rocks and sand hold stories they’d walked past a hundred times without realising. By the end, they both agreed that nobody had ever explained these things to them before… and it made them realise how often we look without truly seeing. The smiles said it all… they left with a handful of beautiful paintings, and a mind full of new ideas. 🎨✨
