What a day! Six wonderful ladies—school friends from years ago—came together for a painting lesson by the sea. It was one of the hottest days we’ve had, and while we learned why the sky is blue and the sea glows aqua, we were almost melting like our ice creams! 🍦


To keep cool, I soaked paper towels in cold water for them to wear like refreshing scarves, their feet dipped in washing-up bowls of cold water while spray bottles gave us a mini sea breeze! 🌊✨


Amid the laughter, splashes, and creativity, each of them painted with such enthusiasm—capturing the joy of Cornwall’s coast in their own unique way. Watching their confidence grow with every brushstroke was magical.


And to top it all off, they surprised me and my partner with icy drinks and ice cream at the end… the perfect way to finish a glorious (and very warm!) day. 💛
