A whole summer in 59 seconds…


The summer seems to have flashed by in the blink of an eye, yet within those fleeting weeks countless memories were made. From Mawgan Porth to the Nare Hotel, Cornwall was alive with creativity: waterfalls, cliffs, waves, gulls, cats, boats, families painted into their seascapes, and commissions proudly carried away.


Children and adults of every age — from five to well into their 80s — discovered they could achieve what once seemed impossible. Nervous beginners picked up a brush for the first time, learning the fundamentals of art: sketching, perspective, colour, and brushwork. Some captured shiny mermaids and butterflies, others painted waves, reflections, and the beauty of the Cornish coast.


Each painting told a story. Each brushstroke carried a spark of courage. Art became more than an activity: it was joy, connection, and discovery.
